History of the System
Yang Mian Kung Fu is Master Zhenhua Yang’s family system, practiced in China and passed down by his ancestors for almost 400 years. Master Yang came to Australia and began teaching his first students in the 90’s.
The Yang Mian System employs ancient Chinese techniques to cultivate internal energy and change your body at a cellular level.
“When your cells are happy and you are in tune with them, you experience increased health and well-being” (Master Zhenhau Yang).

About Jason Webb
Growing up in Sydney, Australia, Jason suffered with childhood Asthma, so from the age of 10 he began training Karate and swimming to improve his health and to increase his lung capacity.
From here, Jason developed a passion for Martial Arts, and after studying a handful of different systems over the years that followed, met Master Yang in the late 90’s and began training as one of his students.
“I was completely in awe of Master Yang and what the Yang Mian System had to offer. I had never seen anything like this before and never met anyone who could do what Master Yang could do. He is a true Master, and to this day I continue to train under his tutelage at any chance I get” (Shifu Jason Webb).
Shifu Jason remains one of only a small number of Master Yang’s students, qualified to teach this unique system. He is passionate about its ability to transform people’s lives, and dedicates his time to teach anyone who suitably wants to learn.

Who can learn?
Anyone, regardless of gender or fitness level, can commence learning this unique system and partake in the multitude of health benefits it has to offer.
From a Martial Arts perspective, Yang Mian Kung Fu caters to serious practitioners, over the age of 16, who wish to study a system that cannot be found written in books, but instead is taught through feeling and experience.
This training does not imitate movements or forms. You teach your body to generate this power, so it remains with you for the duration of your life. Like riding a bike, your cells retain these abilities, so even if an individual has not trained for a long period of time, their power will return almost as soon as they commence training again.

Yang Mian Kung fu Lineage
Levels of Training

Level 1 - Base Power Training (2 years)
Consisting of core exercises, base movement, and breathing techniques to develope power and condition the body from the inside out. This forms the foundation from which all other levels of training build upon.
Just as a tall tree requires strong roots, Base Power training conditions the student’s mind and body, allowing them to grow and progress into more advanced levels of the system.

Level 2 - Intermediate Training (2 - 3 years)

LEVEL 3 - SENIOR INTERMEDIATE TRAINING (3 - 4 YEARS)
Understanding “Qi Flow,” Calligraphy Grappling (Chin Na), advanced Calligraphy Elow Linking, Dragon Elbow, and a stronger emphasis on Steel Body / Hand / Forearm training for greater ability to penetrate and absorb power.
Training now meshes the various aspects of the Yang Mian System together at a cellular level, setting up power and skill for the rest of your life and working towards the attainment of Reflex Link and Reflex Mind, which occurs at Level 4.

LEVEL 4 - ADVANCED TRAINING (4 YEARS AND OVER)
Level 4 perfects the “linking” of all the separate sections of the Yang Mian System to consolidate the students knowledge and power.
The attainment of Reflex Link and Reflex Mind where the student learns to trust and use the body’s natural, intuitive “Qi” feeling, separate from the conscious mind (without having to think).
The student practices controlled, unified movement, at a subconscious level, combined with an advanced knowledge of the various “internal powers” generated in this system (Fa-jing, Spring, Dropping, Lifting, Circle, and Spiral).
